Last thursday we went to Glorietta in Makati to pick up the plants i had reserved with Mamabels of Bacolod. After paying for my plants we went to their Food Court (Called Food Choices) for a late lunch. I decided to go with House of Minis. I ordered their Regular Tbone Steak for 305 Pesos. I had it cooked well done. After a few minutes my steak was out. It was served on a sizzling plate. Gravy was poured over it. I enjoyed my steak. It was tender and tasty, the gravy was very good too. It complemented the steak. House of Minis in Glorietta is located at Food Choices.

For today's lunch we went to Pat Pat's Kansi. The last time we ate at Pat Pat's was probably 4 years ago. I could not remember anymore how their food tasted. Upon entering the Restaurant, their waitress greeted us and gave us their menu. We ordered their Bulalo, Grilled Pork Belly, Grilled Squid and leche flan. Our order arrived after a few minutes. The first to arrive was the Bulalo (Kansi). It was a Humungous bone in a small bowl. It was delicious! There were some meat at the bottom but not too much. So that was why the table beside us also ordered a bowl of laman. Next was the Grilled Pork Belly. I thought that it was kinda expensive for such a small portion but when i tasted it. It was delicious! The grilled squid was equally delicious too, it was cooked right. Though i do find it quite expensive at 240 pesos. The leche flan meanwhile was quite forgettable. Yesterday we tried a new restaurant located in SM Jazz, Makati City. It was a Latin American Street Food Restaurant called Brasas. We ordered the following: Carne Asada Platter which was Charcoal Grilled Sirloin with South American Slaw, Spanish Rice and Chimichurri (P280) Puerco Asado which was Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Crunchy Skin, Tajadas, Rice & Beans plus South American Slaw (P310) Carne Asada Fries was large cut fries with carne asada, chorizo beef chili, salsa de quezo and pico de gallo (Single P180) I liked the Carne Asada Platter, the beef was very tender and it was already tasty that the Chimichurri wasnt needed anymore. Yesterday, after Mama's Accupuncture at Intercare, we went to the much celebrated IHOP. I have read so much news about this, there was even a time that there was a long line to get a table at IHOP. Anyway, after we were shown to our seats we were given something like 3 Sets of Menu. A breakfast menu, their regular menu and another menu showing steaks. My choice originally was the fried chicken dinner but the waiter said it was out of stock so we just got the countryfried steak and Mama got the Strawberry Crepe. After a few minutes of waiting our order arrived. As we sampled the food, my sister said that the food was not that good. At first i really did not agree with her but as i consumed the countryfried steak it was then i realized that the food was not that trully great.
