Porac Pampanga Visita Iglesia (Jan 8,2012)








We left the house around 845am. We arrived at Balintawak Toll at 919am, paid 45 toll fee. Arrived 950am at San Fernando exit, paid 112. 


We arrived at Brgy Pio in Porac at 1030. There is only one road going to Barangay Pio and the Chapel can be easily seen from afar. The Chapel was closed when we arrived so there was nothing to except take pictures of the Church and surrounding Buildings. At the Back of the Church is a Cemetery and on the right is an Old House.
We Left Barangay Pio at 1036am then proceeded to Porac Town. Arrived 1043am. The Church was open so i was able to take pictures of the Inside, we left Porac at 1052am. 


 Arrived Hacienda Dolores at 11am. There is only one main road in Hacienda Dolores and the church is along the main road so it is hard to miss it. The Church was closed also like the one in Pio, and even the gate was closed too. But i was able to get pics of the church. We Left 1110am. Proceeded to Angeles City for Lunch.
Arrived at Everybody’s 1130am. We ordered Kare Kareng Baka, Morcon, Inihaw na Hito. Our total Bill totaled P1300 (hmmmm it would have been cheaper if we ate at Balay Kapampangan). We finished lunch at 12. We then went to susie’s to buy Tibuk Tibuk.

Toll going back to Manila P157. We got home at 2pm

One of Metro Manila's BEST Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage. I found about Aling Pining's Crispy Pata in a FB Comment a few months ago. Halcon Street Crispy Pata was Aling Pinings Crispy Pata.  An Old Lady was the one frying the Crispy Pata. While a middle aged woman  was the one accepting orders. D' Original Matutina's Seafood Restaurant (Dagupan, Pangasinan)

The first time I heard about Matutina's was a few years ago when it was mentioned in the Inquirer that it is a favorite Restaurant of Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Since it was a long drive just to sample their food I had a hard time adjusting an open schedule just to go all the way to Pangasinan.  This morning we were able to finally find time to go all the way to Dagupan, Pangasinan to sample Matutina's. The one we went to is the D'Original Matutina's in Tondaligan, Dagupan, Pangasinan. They have another branch in Urdaneta Also. There is a Matutina's in Tarlac City but i guess this is not connected with the Matutina's. We Ordered the following: Sizzling Bangus - This was just Delicious. The Bangus was Milky. Meat was just perfect.  Inihaw na Pusit - Grilled to perfection. The Squid was tender. Gaston Mansion @ Hacienda Sta Rosalia, Manapla, Negros Occidental

The Gaston Mansion in Hacienda Sta Rosalia located in Manapla was used as the Mansion of the Lorenzo's and referred to as Hacienda Lorenzo in the 1980's Film, Oro Plata Mata. The Gaston Mansion is not as opulent and ostentatious as the other Ancestral Houses in Silay or Talisay Cities. The rooms are small compared to the other Mansions in Silay or Talisay. It definitely was a Countryhome for the Gaston's. --oo00oo-- Facade of the Gaston Mansion at Hacienda Sta Rosalia Eversince I saw this Mansion in Oro Plata Mata i was intrigued as to where this Mansion was. I was in luck as it was in the list of Tours Offered by Next Stop Negros. Price for the tours is P2000 a Person, this includes a Buffet Lunch inside the Mansion and served in the Dining Room of the Gastons. It is P1500 a person if you have your own transportation.
