I have been given the privilege to visit France for 2x. The first was in 1998 and the second in 1999. On both occasions I was alone by myself. The first trip in 1998 was for 2 weeks while the one in 1999 was for 3 months! I studied the French Language and lived with a French Family at the 15th Arrondisement.


It was an experience I will never forget. I visited almost all the notable places in Paris, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, La Defense, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Coeur, and more. Aside from Paris, I also went to Versailles, Aix-En-Provence, Marseilles, Nice, Eze and to the tiny Principality of Monaco (which I will feature seperately).

I think the digital camera was not yet invented at that time, or if there was, it was probably too exepensive. Anyway, I hope someday, that I will go back to France. There are still so many places that I want to visit and re visit again.

One of Metro Manila's BEST Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage. I found about Aling Pining's Crispy Pata in a FB Comment a few months ago. The Commenter just said the best Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage in Halcon Street in La Loma. With Just Halcon Street as the address we went to La Loma 2 weeks ago in search of Halcon Street Crispy Pata. When we arrived at Halcon Street we just asked the people there where we can buy Crispy Pata. We passed by it already it turned out. It was indeed just a garage. It had a small sign. Halcon Street Crispy Pata was Aling Pinings Crispy Pata.  An Old Lady was the one frying the Crispy Pata. While a middle aged woman  was the one accepting orders. Plaridel, Bulacan

Plaridel is a 1st class urban municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 99,817 inhabitants in 16,596 households. The town of Plaridel was previously known as Quingua. This is where the Battle of Quingua was fought with Gregorio del Pilar in which Col. John Stotsenberg was killed during the Philippine-American War on April 23. A marker now stands at the site of the battle, in Barangay Agnaya. The historic past of the town of Plaridel can be traced through records back to 1595, in the early years of the Spanish colonization, when the place was a vast undeveloped plain covered with thick forest and cogon grass, with the rivers Angat and Tabang running through it. The Angat River flowed directly in a snakelike wave to Calumpit meeting the Pampanga River. D' Original Matutina's Seafood Restaurant (Dagupan, Pangasinan)

The first time I heard about Matutina's was a few years ago when it was mentioned in the Inquirer that it is a favorite Restaurant of Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Since it was a long drive just to sample their food I had a hard time adjusting an open schedule just to go all the way to Pangasinan.  This morning we were able to finally find time to go all the way to Dagupan, Pangasinan to sample Matutina's. The one we went to is the D'Original Matutina's in Tondaligan, Dagupan, Pangasinan. They have another branch in Urdaneta Also. There is a Matutina's in Tarlac City but i guess this is not connected with the Matutina's. We Ordered the following: Sizzling Bangus - This was just Delicious. The Bangus was Milky. Meat was just perfect.  Inihaw na Pusit - Grilled to perfection. The Squid was tender. Buttered Shrimps - though it was not the buttter shrimp i wished for, the freshness of the shrimps made it good enough ...
