Baluarte (Ilocos, Sur)
This is the Private zoo of Governor Chavit Singson in Ilocos Sur. Entrance is FREE. At the Entrance you can avail of the Pony Ride that will take you around the Zoo, there is no set payment, just a donation. The Animals are allowed to roam around the sprawling compund, with the exception of the Tigers. When we first visited this place in 2003. This was smaller in size, and had less animals. It has grown bigger in size and added more animals since then. It is one of the main attractions of the province.
