UCC Coffee Park (Ayala Center, Makati)
Yesterday Morning while waiting for my Friend to check out of Shangri-La Makati. We decided to have breakfast at UCC Coffee’s Park Cafe at Ayala Center, Makati (This is in front of Shangri-La Makati). We ordered the Fruit Platter and the Filipino Medley Breakfast. Service was fast and efficient. First to be served was the Filipino Medley Breakfast which consisted of Scrambled Egg, Fried Rice, Beef Tapa, Tocino and Chicken Longaniza. It was also served with Hot Cocoa. The Fruit platter was served with very fresh fruits. Quality of the fruits was very high. Before it was served they asked me what i wanted instead of the mangoes since the mangoes they had were already sour. It was pricey though at 199. The Filipino Medley Breakfast was good too. They obviously used high quality meats for this breakfast.And it was reflected at the P399 price. UCC Coffee’s Park Cafe is located at the Ayala Center. In front of Shangri-La Makati and just underneath the Parking Area. Hot Chocolate UCC...
Bacolod Chicken House Express (Makati)
The first time i got to sample Chicken Inasal was way way back in 2002, in Bacolod, and where else but at Manukan Country. I have not yet tasted Chicken Inasal here in Metro Manila which tastes as close to the ones served in Bacolod until we discovered Bacolod Chicken House Express ( Owned by the son of Bacolod Chicken House ) Bacolod Chicken House Express (near Shop Wise Pasong Tamo, Makati) serves Authentic tasting Chicken Inasal and served in surroundings which help add to the Inasal Taste (Air Conditioned Restaurants just do not fit right with Inasal) Chicken Inasal - We ordered PakPak (P62.00 for 2 Pcs) they also have Paa and Pecho priced at P92 pesos. This is so far the best Inasal I have tasted. The chicken is just tender, juicy and tasty. The smell is just aromatic. Inasal to perfection. No need to go to Bacolod to taste the Real Thing. Also, they do not heat their Inasal, they cook it when you order it. Their Chicken Inasal even tastes better than the Chicken Inasal in...
BBQ Makati
One of my favorite Chicken Places is BBQ Chicken, a korean restaurant chain specializing in Chicken. I always oder their Teri Q Golden Wings. It is super delicious. It has the right blend of sweetness and saltiness combined with the chicken fried to just the right crispiness. BBQ Chicken is located at Jupiter Street, Bel Air, Makati.
