Hay Dairies (Singapore)

Image
Hay Dairies Pte Ltd is a small goat farm, with about 1,000 goats of mixed breed, producing milk for sale. The farm uses the latest milking, pasteurising, homogenising and bottling machines to produce very fresh goat's milk, which it sells directly to customers. Hay Dairies is Singapore's Only Goat Farm. It is located at No 3 Lim Ku Chang, Agrotech Park Lane 4, Singapore. Do not forget to mention Agrotech Park Lane 4 if you will get a Taxi as there are many Lane's. Some Taxi Drivers do not know the place also. Fresh Goat's Milk can be purchased at the Farm.

2 Day Singapore Trip

Image
Off all my trips to Singapore. This is probably the shortest. It won't be even a 48 hour trip. Day 1-August 19 Our flight PR 505 left on time (740pm). Food served was a choice between Chicken Estofado and Fish Curry. I chose the Chicken Estofado which I did not like. The fish would probably have been a better option. It was served with a dinner roll, a salad and dessert from Bizu (Mango Pannacotta). Chicken Estofado with Roll, Salad and Pannacotta Fish Curry The film they showed was The Bounty Hunter, a lousy film by Jennifer Anniston and Gerard Butler, no wonder it was a flop at the box office. The plane landed a bit ahead of schedule (11pm, schedule was 1115pm) and in less than 30 minutes we were in the taxi. Getting to the Apartment was Fast! Fare amounted to SGD16. Did not sleep until 130am. Day 2-August 20 Woke up at 6am. It was raining in Singapore so just stayed at the Apartment. At 1030am we had a nice brunch of nasi lemak, char siu pork and another pork dish...

Another Singapore Vacation

Image
This my nth trip to Singapore and the 1st for the year. Day 1 After clearing immigration (which is now faster thanks to the E Passport, no more typing by the Immigration Officer) nanay and i immediately went to baggage claim to get our stuff. Then to the taxi line to get a taxi that will take us to the apartment. Nanay and I were supposed to go out for lunch but got a text message from M that they are on their way to the apartment. R and L arrived an hour after M. We just stayed at the apartment for the rest of the day. I was too tired and sleepy to go out. Day 2 Got up quite early as we were going to Universal Studios at Resorts World at Sentosa. Around 830, me,nanay,L and R got a taxi to take us to the Festive Hotel at Resorts World. Taxi from the Moulmein Apartment to Resorts World was S$17.00. Check in was still at 3pm so we just checked in and left our bags with the concierge. We then went to breadtalk to get something to eat since Universal Studios does not open till 10a...

Bollywood (Singapore)

Image
When you hear or see the word Bollywood you would think of India and its Film Industry and when you think of a Farm you would not think of Singapore. But in Singapore, there exists a place called "Bollywood" and it is also a Farm.  I never thought that a City State like Singapore had farms, but there are. Located in the Kranji Countryside, Bollywood stands out in Singapore. I had a fun day exploring the farm and seeing all the Fruits and Vegetables they grow. Bollywood is owned by Mrs Ivy Singh Lim and Mr Lim Ho Seng. It is a 10 acre Farm located at 100 Neo Tiew Road, Kranji Countryside, Singapore. Open Wednesday to Sundays 9am to 6pm.
