Chatuchak Weekend Market (Bangkok,Thailand)

Chatuchak (or JatujakThai: จตุจักร) weekend market in Bangkok is the largest market in Thailand. Frequently called J.J., it covers over 35 acres (1.13 km²) and contains upwards of 5,000 stalls. It is estimated that the market receives between 200,000 visitors each day. Most stalls only open on Saturdays and Sundays. The market offers a wide variety of products including household items, clothing, Thai handicrafts, religious artifacts, collectibles, foods, and live animals. (from Wikipedia)

The Chatuchak Weekend Market is HUGE! You can easily get lost here, so if you are in a Group, make sure to set some place as a meeting point. They have everything here. This is also a good source for those hard to find plant seeds.

Loy Nava Dinner Cruise (Bangkok,Thailand)

The Loy Nava Dinner Cruise is one experience which i will never forget. The amount of food served was just overwhelming. Included with that was the scenery along the Chao Phraya River.
If ever i would take a Dinner Cruise again, I will make sure to drink lots of Tea!
Price for a Loy Nava Dinner Cruise is Baht 1450 for Adults. This does not include drinks.

Macau and Hongkong Vacation

Our Room at the Venetian Hotel and Casino

I think this is the Hotel Owned by Jackie Chan

The Goddess of Mercy Statue

The Ruins of Saint Paul

This is where we had our Breakfast on our last day in Macau. Foggo Samba, an all you can eat Buffet. Delicious!

My Singapore based Sister M and her Family were going to Macau so we decided to join them. Our Macau Trip was from September 4-6. With a 6 Hour Stop Over in HongKong (Pal changed their Macau Schedules so PAL rerouted our Ticket to HongKong and gave us Cotai Jet Tickets from the Taipa Ferry Terminal in Macau to HongKong, Our Schedule became Manila-Macau-Hongkong-Manila). Here is what happened on our Trip.
Day 1 September 4 The usual Check In at Airport and waiting for Boarding. Upon arrival at Macau's Airport i noticed that their Airport is quite small. After exiting, we looked for the Shuttle to take us to the Venetian. The distance from the Airport to the Venetian was probably just around 5 Minutes. The Venetian from a Distance looked Mas…

Rose and Grace (Sta Rosa, Laguna)

We went here after my Nanay's chekcup at the Asian Hospital. The reviews at the forums where so convincing that we decided to go from Alabang to Sta Rosa, Laguna to try their food.
We ordered Bulalo, Chili Garlic Shrimp and Bangus Relleno.
The Bulalo was SOOO DISAPPOINTING. I think it was just re-heated. The Chili Garlic Shrimp was likewise DISAPPOINTING. It was just shrimp which looked like Chili Garlic Sauce drizzled over. And the Rellenong Bangus was PANIS (Spoiled).
Anyway, it was such a DISAPPOINTING lunch that we will never go back to this particular Rose and Grace. There are other branches of Rose and Grace, and it is unfair to say that all Rose and Grace have the same quality of food.
