St Joseph's Church (Ayutthaya, Thailand)

This is one of the largest and one of the most important Wat Complexes in Ayutthaya.  Founded in the late 14th Century by King Borommaracha I. This is where you will find the Buddha Head which is trapped in between tree roots. Entrance is 50 Baht.

Chatuchak  (or  Jatujak ;  Thai :  จตุจักร )  weekend market  in  Bangkok  is the largest  market  in  Thailand . Frequently called  J.J. , it covers over 35  acres  (1.13 km²) and contains upwards of 5,000 stalls. It is estimated that the market receives between 200,000 visitors each day.  Most stalls only open on Saturdays and Sundays. The market offers a wide variety of products including household items, clothing, Thai handicrafts, religious artifacts,  collectibles , foods, and live animals. ( from Wikipedia ) The Chatuchak Weekend Market is HUGE! You can easily get lost here, so if you are in a Group, make sure to set some place as a meeting point. They have everything here. This is also a good source for those hard to find plant seeds.

The Loy Nava Dinner Cruise is one experience which i will never forget. The amount of food served was just overwhelming. Included with that was the scenery along the Chao Phraya River. If ever i would take a Dinner Cruise again, I will make sure to drink lots of Tea! Price for a Loy Nava Dinner Cruise is Baht 1450 for Adults. This does not include drinks.

1 Night in Bangkok

From Singapore we decided to go to Bangkok. The last time I was here was in 1998. So this trip was 9 years after. The Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok is very modern and HUGE! It is a very big step up from the Don Muang Airport. From the Airport we got a taxi to bring us to our hotel, the Pathumwan Princess Hotel (Located beside the MBK Mall). Suvarnabhumi Airport It was still to early so we left our bags with the Concierge. While we were walking outside the hotel, a TukTuk driver approached us and told us where we were going, so we told the driver that we were going to a Mall to eat. He told us to follow him to his TukTuk, so we went with him and we were brought to a Huge Place, and it turned out to be a Handicrafts Center! After that he brought us to a Jewellry Center, on the 3rd Jewellry Center we told him to just bring us back to MBK, but he pleaded with us, even if it was just 5 minutes that we go inside so he can get a Petrol Coupon.
