Ted's La Paz Batchoy

Image
The first time I visited Ted's was way back in 2003 when I first went to Iloilo. This is so far the best La Paz Batchoy for me.  The La Paz Batchoy of Ted's comes in 3 kinds, the Special (with pork only) Super Special (with pork and liver) and the Extra special (with pork, liver and isaw) prices are at 75, 78 and 80 respectively.  Aside from La Paz Batchoy, Ted's also sells Rice Meals. We ordered the Porkchop rice and the Sisig Rice. The Porkchop was good but the Sisig is something i will never order again, not that it tastes like cardboard or anything but similar, it just doesnt taste like sisig i am used to. Ted's is now found all over Metro Manila.

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Tayabas

Image
We had lunch at Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Tayabas today (this is the Main branch of the Kamayan sa Palaisdaan at Bay). I was expecting that there would be few people there since it was a thursday, but when we got there I was wrong. The parking was fulll of cars. And when we went inside there were no waiters to greet us. They probably did not expect the influx of customers. We ordered the following, Sinigang na Sampaloc (lacks sourness), Crispy Tadyang (the one served at Bangus is better but this one is way way cheaper), Inihaw na Talong (the bagoong isda which accompanied the talong tasted funny), Inihaw na Hito (Delicious!!), Rice and fresh buko juice. Overall it was a good lunch. Food quality is the same as their branch in Bay, Laguna. "Sent via BlackBerry from Smart"

Appetize of Singkamas, Carrots and Pipino Yang Chow Fried Rice We just had brunch at Emperor. We ordered the following, Roasting Combination, Fish Fillet with Corn Sauce, an Asparagus dish and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The only dish I did not like was the fish fillet, tasted bland. Overall it was a satisfying brunch.

Serenitea

Just discovered this food store, i just cannot get over their chicken chop and peppered corn. I am hooked!! My sister is the one who originally asked me to go to Serenitea and on my first order I ordered 6 Chicken Chop and 5 Peppered Corn! All were wiped out! I really love the chicken chop, it is not too salty like the other Chicken snacks sold by similar shops. So far I have tried the Okinawa milk tea, Hokkaido milk tea and choco milk tea. Nice thing about Serenitea is that their food is healthy. I cant wait to go back to Serenitea again!! Serenitea is located at Jose Abad Santos street in San Juan.

Early Yoghurt Fix at Pancake House

Image
Had a Sansrival Yoghurt Grit at Pancake House this morning. It was delicious!! I had it before my Steak Breakfast. By the time I had already finished the Yoghurt, I felt my tummy rumbling a but??!! My tummy does not usually react with Yoghurt, so I really do not know what caused it, could it have been the nuts??!! the Caramel syrup?? or the sansrival wafer?? Anyway, I will definitely try their Yoghurt again next time.
