Aling Fely's BBQ (Malate, Manila)

Image
We just came from Aling Fely's BBQ. It was my first time there. We ordered their Pork BBQ (Mini at P26 each), Liempo with Unli Rice (P115), Paksiw na Bangus (P70), Leche Flan (P30) and Watermelon Shake (P30). The Pork BBQ was quite tough. Will not order it again. The liempo on the other hand was delicious. It was tender and tasty. The Watermelon Shake was fresh and refreshing. The leche flan tasted like the caramel flan i usually buy in the Supermarket. Aling Fely's is located along MH Del Pilar Street, Malate, Manila.

Wan Chai (Binondo, Manila)

We just came from lunch at Wan Chai. It was a filling lunch with some hits and a miss. We ordered their Steamed Fish in Soy Sauce, Salted Pork (It was supposed to be mixed veggies but the waitress heard Salted Pork instead), sweet and sour pork, taro puff and buko pandan.  Food at Wan Chai is worth returning to but their service needs a lot of improvement. Order taking and check out speed are areas wherein they need to check.

Ristorante delle Mitre (Intramuros, Manila)

Image
Last Sunday we went to San Agustin Church in Intramuros and just in front of the Church is the Restorante del Mitre. We ordered their Humba and Callos which are their specialties.  The food arrived after 10 minutes. I must say that i was surprised why we had not eaten at Restorante delle Mitre before! The food was delicious! I loved how their humba was cooked, it was not to sweet, it just had the right taste. The callos was equally good too. No wonder why they were the Restaurants specialties. We also got their Sylvannas which was surprisingly good! Better than the ones i bought from Cebu (Mrs U and Nena Montenegros ). Priced at P158 a pack. Despite the rather inattentive staff, will definitely go back because of the food. Restorante del Mitre is located infront of San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila .

SoSizz (Manila)

Image
We were on our way to Bambang, Manila when we saw this restaurant in Dapitan corner Dela Fuente. My sister said she would try it later but we ended up at Sosizz again because of all the 1 way streets so we decided to give it a try. Sosizz is located in an Antique House. They converted the entire ground floor to a restaurant. The 2nd floor looks in need of repair though.  We ordered their pork chop and fried chicken. After a few minutes our orders arrived. I do not know what the chicken tastes but my pork chop was delicious. The gravy was good, the veggies cooked just right, the rice too was good. And for just P85.00 this is a must try. Sosizz is located at Dapitan Street corner Dela Fuente, Sampaloc, Manila.
