Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice was founded in 1953. It is located at Balestier Road. It serves one of the best Chicken Rice i have ever tasted in Singapore. This is a must try Restaurant.

One of Metro Manila's BEST Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage. I found about Aling Pining's Crispy Pata in a FB Comment a few months ago. The Commenter just said the best Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage in Halcon Street in La Loma. With Just Halcon Street as the address we went to La Loma 2 weeks ago in search of Halcon Street Crispy Pata. When we arrived at Halcon Street we just asked the people there where we can buy Crispy Pata. We passed by it already it turned out. It was indeed just a garage. It had a small sign. Halcon Street Crispy Pata was Aling Pinings Crispy Pata.  An Old Lady was the one frying the Crispy Pata. While a middle aged woman  was the one accepting orders. D' Original Matutina's Seafood Restaurant (Dagupan, Pangasinan)

The first time I heard about Matutina's was a few years ago when it was mentioned in the Inquirer that it is a favorite Restaurant of Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Since it was a long drive just to sample their food I had a hard time adjusting an open schedule just to go all the way to Pangasinan.  This morning we were able to finally find time to go all the way to Dagupan, Pangasinan to sample Matutina's. The one we went to is the D'Original Matutina's in Tondaligan, Dagupan, Pangasinan. They have another branch in Urdaneta Also. There is a Matutina's in Tarlac City but i guess this is not connected with the Matutina's. We Ordered the following: Sizzling Bangus - This was just Delicious. The Bangus was Milky. Meat was just perfect.  Inihaw na Pusit - Grilled to perfection. The Squid was tender. Sixto Castelo Lopez Ancestral Housen (Casa Grande) @ Balayan, Batangas

I noticed this house on our way to Balayan Church. It is an imposing house so it will be impossible not to notice it. Upon closer inspection I found a Marker indicating that it was the house of Don Sixto Castelo Lopez.  Don Sixto Castelo Lopez was a Revolutionary Propagandist and a friend of Dr Jose Rizal. They were classmates at the Ateneo de Manila. Sixto Lopez was one of the richest men in Balayan, he owned vast tracts of land in Batangas. Socialites Diana Jean Lopez and Marybeth Lopez de Leon are grandchildren of Don Sixto. Famous Model and Socialite Claudia Bermudez and Congresswoman of Tarlac Nikki Prieto Teodoro are Great Grand Children of Don Sixto.
