Juan's Special Chicharon (Carcar, Cebu)

Everytime we go to Cebu we go to Carcar to buy Chicharon. Our favorite place to buy Carcar Chicharon is Juan's Chicharon. 





I love their Spicy Chicharon. Priced at 20 Pesos per pack. It also comes in a smaller pack for 10 pesos but somehow it tastes different from the 20 Peso Pack.



Juan's Chicharon will not stay fresh for a long time. It will stay good only for 2 weeks and beyond that the taste turns Maanta in tagalog.

Juan's Chicharon is located along the highway in Carcar, going to Sibonga. It is outside downtown Carcar. Their contact Number 09236156296.

Bacolod's Central Market (Bacolod, Negros Occidental)

I have been to Bacolod countless times already but it was only last March 10, 2011 that i got the chance to visit Bacolod's Central Market. From what i saw and remember what was written on the Marker of the Central Market, it was built in 1938 by a certain Don De La Rama.  The Central Market is located in the center of Bacolod and can entered from 4 streets, namely Gatuslao, Gonzaga, Luzuriaga and Bonifacio Streets. We went straight to the meat section of the Central Market to look for Longaniza (Chorizo is how they call it in Negros). The Longaniza we were looking for is the small one, we bought some Longaniza before in Talisay and it was very delicious and we were hoping that they would have it too in Bacolod.  We found a Longaniza stall in the Meat Section, it was being sold for P25.00 for a Dozen. Tita Lulu's Pancit Palabok (San Juan, Metro Manila)

If you are craving for Palabok and Tokwa't Baboy, the best place to go to is Tita Lulu's.  They serve delicious Palabok at Tita Lulu's (Located in front of PureGold Agora, inside the big parking lot). Always say you want the thin noodles when you order Palabok as it is better. The Tokwa't Baboy is equally delicious. Never forget to buy the palabok and tokwa't baboy together as they complement each other.
