Kyochon (Megamall)

We just had lunch at Kyochon in MegaMall. I had no idea what this restaurant was until this morning when my sister told me to buy her Chicken Wings from Kyuchon.



There were a lot of diners when we arrived. We were ushered to a table for two. Unlike Bon Chon which is pay as you order they are order then pay when finished.

I ordered the Combo 1 (P549) which consisted of 10 pcs chicken, salad, 2 rice and 2 drinks. Then take out of 5 pcs original wings (P149) and 5 pcs honey wings (P149).

Our order arrived after a few minutes. First to be served was the salad which was just a small plate of lettuce, cabbage and tomatoes drizzled with a violet sauce.



Then after we finished the salad our Chicken arrived. Kyochon's Chicken is similar in taste to BonChon's and Chicken Charlies. I really cannot tell which is better since all taste the same. All 3 chicken are addictive and 1 is not just enough.


While waiting for our bill, a group arrived outside. I think they were a bloggers group. They were given bags of something, maybe Kyochon chicken.

I have been to Bacolod countless times already but it was only last March 10, 2011 that i got the chance to visit Bacolod's Central Market. From what i saw and remember what was written on the Marker of the Central Market, it was built in 1938 by a certain Don De La Rama.  The Central Market is located in the center of Bacolod and can entered from 4 streets, namely Gatuslao, Gonzaga, Luzuriaga and Bonifacio Streets. Aling Pining's Crispy Pata (La Loma, Quezon City)

One of Metro Manila's BEST Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage. I found about Aling Pining's Crispy Pata in a FB Comment a few months ago. The Commenter just said the best Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage in Halcon Street in La Loma. With Just Halcon Street as the address we went to La Loma 2 weeks ago in search of Halcon Street Crispy Pata. When we arrived at Halcon Street we just asked the people there where we can buy Crispy Pata. We passed by it already it turned out. It was indeed just a garage. It had a small sign. Halcon Street Crispy Pata was Aling Pinings Crispy Pata.  An Old Lady was the one frying the Crispy Pata. While a middle aged woman  was the one accepting orders. We bought a Crispy Pata (P400) and we were on our way. At home we were eager to finally taste the Crispy Pata. It did not disappoint. The trip to La Loma was worth it. Is it the best? If you are craving for Palabok and Tokwa't Baboy, the best place to go to is Tita Lulu's.  They serve delicious Palabok at Tita Lulu's (Located in front of PureGold Agora, inside the big parking lot). Always say you want the thin noodles when you order Palabok as it is better. The Tokwa't Baboy is equally delicious. Never forget to buy the palabok and tokwa't baboy together as they complement each other.
