Dapo at Tisa Restaurant (Marikina)

The other day we were supposed to eat at another restaurant along Lilac Street but when we arrived at the Restaurant it was still closed and so we ended up at the nearest restaurant we could find.
The Restaurant that caught my attention was Dapo at Tisa. Formerly an Old House and repurposed into a Restaurant. There were a lot of Diners at Dapo at Tisa when we arrived and that was good. 
Staff were friendly at Dapo at Tisa. We were asked how many we were. We seated ourselved at a big table for 6 (we were just 3). The Menu of Dapo at Tisa looked like what i would usually eat at home.
There were so many choices. Since i was reducing my intake of meat i concentrated on the fish dishes. We ordered the following, Prichon, Sigarilyas, Adobong Hito sa Gata, grilled blue marlin, cucumber lemonade and Dapo Secret.
Our order arrived after a few minutes. The first to arrive was the prichon. It consisted of 7 pcs of Lechon wrapped in wrapper. It was delicious!! I wish i could have ordered more. This is a MUST order.
Next to arrive was the Sigarilyas. This too was delicious. The Sigarilyas was just cooked right. Just love how this dish tasted. All the other dishes served were also good.

I have been to Bacolod countless times already but it was only last March 10, 2011 that i got the chance to visit Bacolod's Central Market. From what i saw and remember what was written on the Marker of the Central Market, it was built in 1938 by a certain Don De La Rama.  The Central Market is located in the center of Bacolod and can entered from 4 streets, namely Gatuslao, Gonzaga, Luzuriaga and Bonifacio Streets. Aling Pining's Crispy Pata (La Loma, Quezon City)

One of Metro Manila's BEST Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage. I found about Aling Pining's Crispy Pata in a FB Comment a few months ago. The Commenter just said the best Crispy Pata can be found in a Garage in Halcon Street in La Loma. With Just Halcon Street as the address we went to La Loma 2 weeks ago in search of Halcon Street Crispy Pata. When we arrived at Halcon Street we just asked the people there where we can buy Crispy Pata. We passed by it already it turned out. It was indeed just a garage. It had a small sign. Halcon Street Crispy Pata was Aling Pinings Crispy Pata.  An Old Lady was the one frying the Crispy Pata. While a middle aged woman  was the one accepting orders. We bought a Crispy Pata (P400) and we were on our way. At home we were eager to finally taste the Crispy Pata. It did not disappoint. The trip to La Loma was worth it. Is it the best? If you are craving for Palabok and Tokwa't Baboy, the best place to go to is Tita Lulu's.  They serve delicious Palabok at Tita Lulu's (Located in front of PureGold Agora, inside the big parking lot). Always say you want the thin noodles when you order Palabok as it is better. The Tokwa't Baboy is equally delicious. Never forget to buy the palabok and tokwa't baboy together as they complement each other.
