Carmelino's Grill (Pasay City)

The other day (12/22/2010), we had a late lunch at Carmelino’s Grill (Beside the Old Domestic Airport). We were already Super Hungry since it was almost 2pm and we just had Toast for breakfast.
We ordered the following, Roast Beef, TBone Steak and Beef Salpicao.
The Roast Beef was okay. The gravy was good and the beef was very tender. The Tbone, though not delicious, was neither good or bad. The use of A1 Steak Sauce made it more palatable, the meat was very tender though. The beef salpicao was just okay, I think it was more geared to drinkers.
Over all, Carmelino’s Grill is geared toward’s the drinkers. As evidenced also by their waitresses in mini shorts and showing their cleavages. Price is a bit high.

Bacolod's Central Market (Bacolod, Negros Occidental)

I have been to Bacolod countless times already but it was only last March 10, 2011 that i got the chance to visit Bacolod's Central Market. From what i saw and remember what was written on the Marker of the Central Market, it was built in 1938 by a certain Don De La Rama.  The Central Market is located in the center of Bacolod and can entered from 4 streets, namely Gatuslao, Gonzaga, Luzuriaga and Bonifacio Streets. We went straight to the meat section of the Central Market to look for Longaniza (Chorizo is how they call it in Negros). The Longaniza we were looking for is the small one, we bought some Longaniza before in Talisay and it was very delicious and we were hoping that they would have it too in Bacolod.  We found a Longaniza stall in the Meat Section, it was being sold for P25.00 for a Dozen. Tita Lulu's Pancit Palabok (San Juan, Metro Manila)

If you are craving for Palabok and Tokwa't Baboy, the best place to go to is Tita Lulu's.  They serve delicious Palabok at Tita Lulu's (Located in front of PureGold Agora, inside the big parking lot). Always say you want the thin noodles when you order Palabok as it is better. The Tokwa't Baboy is equally delicious. Never forget to buy the palabok and tokwa't baboy together as they complement each other.
