Pamana Restaurant (Tagaytay)

Pamana Restaurant is located in Tagaytay City. It is owned by the Owners of Barrio Feista, the Ongpauco's. For Pamana (which means Inheritance) they used the old recipes of the Family.

The Building from the Outside is a bit modern, but the inside is all Old World Charm. They used Red Vigan Tiles, Wood Furniture, Framed Old Pictures, Santos and other antique or antique looking decors for the interiors.

At the entrance you will find a gift shoppe where you can buy some special food items made by the restaurant's owners. At the 2nd Floor is the main dining area. At the 3rd floor is the Roof deck dining area.

The food selection is overwhelming. We just ordered the Pampanga Sizzling Sisig with Aligue, Sinigang na Bangus sa Kamias and the Zamboanga Ginataang Manok sa Kamias. and a Caraffe of Iced Tea (i think it was pandan-lime). The food was great with the exception of the Sisig which could use less oil. The Ginataang Manok was exceptional. The kamias added that extra flavor which enchanced its taste.

The Sizzling Sisig was too Oily. They could lessen the Oil and make the meat crunchier.
