SIA Check In Trouble

We had a Hiccup at Check In at the SIA Counter. The Photocopy of the CC my sister used in purchasing my ticket to Singapore was not accepted. They want the actual credit card (huwat?) which is impossible as my sister is already in Singapore (she changed her sched and went 4 days eralier than us). Anyway, after some explaining, confirming with their manager, they finally agreed that I just present an alternate Credit Card (my credit card). They swiped my Card for $237 but it will not be processed until the CC Holder who bought the ticket denies the purchase.

So word of advice to those who will be buying tickets for others, do not buy tickets for other people unless you will be on the same flight as them. Or if you really want to buy a ticket for them be prepared to part with your credit card for the duration of their trip.

Btw, check in at the regular counters was super long.Good thing I did an Internet Check In. Nobody was at the Internet Check In.

Right now,I am in the Miascor Lounger waiting for Boarding. Good thing I have a Diners Club Card, and this gave me access to the Lounge. They have unlimited drinks here, plus Rice and Adobo and other light snacks.

Bacolod's Central Market (Bacolod, Negros Occidental)

I have been to Bacolod countless times already but it was only last March 10, 2011 that i got the chance to visit Bacolod's Central Market. From what i saw and remember what was written on the Marker of the Central Market, it was built in 1938 by a certain Don De La Rama.  The Central Market is located in the center of Bacolod and can entered from 4 streets, namely Gatuslao, Gonzaga, Luzuriaga and Bonifacio Streets. We went straight to the meat section of the Central Market to look for Longaniza (Chorizo is how they call it in Negros). The Longaniza we were looking for is the small one, we bought some Longaniza before in Talisay and it was very delicious and we were hoping that they would have it too in Bacolod.  We found a Longaniza stall in the Meat Section, it was being sold for P25.00 for a Dozen. We bought several to take home. We also bought some Batuan at the nearby stall for P80.00 a Kilo.  We were also looking for Kuakoy. We found it being sold by an old lady just outsid

Tita Lulu's Pancit Palabok (San Juan, Metro Manila)

If you are craving for Palabok and Tokwa't Baboy, the best place to go to is Tita Lulu's.  They serve delicious Palabok at Tita Lulu's (Located in front of PureGold Agora, inside the big parking lot). Always say you want the thin noodles when you order Palabok as it is better. The Tokwa't Baboy is equally delicious. Never forget to buy the palabok and tokwa't baboy together as they complement each other.
